Craig L. Stephens, PT
Craig L. Stephens was born and raised in Spokane and was fortunate enough to attend Eastern Washington University for Physical Therapy, graduating in 1994. This has kept Craig close to his family and friends. Craig opened Spokane Sports and Physical Therapy in January of 2001 and has continued to manage and practice this location since that time.
Craig has taken many advanced courses in evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. He has an extensive background in treating injuries and repetitive problems resulting from work-related injuries. Craig specializes in post surgical shoulder rehabilitation and chronic shoulder problems.
Craig has been an active youth coach for many years involving multiple sports. His background with athletics and coaching gives him a unique understanding treating and rehabilitating the injured athlete.
Craig has also worked with patients and attorneys regarding motor vehicle injuries for many years and has gained extensive knowledge regarding these problems.
Richard D. Mocabee, MAPT
Rick is a physical therapist of 33 years. He is originally from Montana, but graduated from S. Louis University in Missouri with Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He was working in Virginia with his wife Emily when, in May of 2007, they decided to move to Spokane to be closer to family.
He has practiced in almost all settings including rehabilitation institutes, acute care hospitals, nursing homes, and out-patient clinics. He has tried to maintain a well-rounded knowledge and experience all aspects of therapy including spinal cord, stroke, orthopaedic, and some pediatric therapy. He has had the opportunity to use all aspects of his training whether treating young hypo-tonic children, orthopaedic problems and even adult patients following a CVA. He is continuing to learn and provide better care to patients through continuing education and journal reviews.
In his spare time, Rick likes to cook, remodel his house and do woodworking.
Amy Forrey, PTA
Amy grew up in Western Washington, and yes she loves the rain! She attended Central Washington University where she earned a degree in Biology and participated on the track and cross country teams. (Go Wildcats). Choosing the path of a Physical Therapist Assistant, she completed her education in Bellingham, Washington at Whatcom Community College. Amy joined Spokane Sports and Physical Therapy in April 2006. She continues to run as part of her healthy lifestyle and plans to add marathons and triathlons to her resume.
Teryn Riddle
Teryn was born and raised in Mississippi. She attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for two years and moved to Spokane in June of 2007 where she attended Eastern Washington University to pursue her degree in Exercise Science. Teryn has worked for the clinic for almost 5 years now. She enjoys talking with patients and helping them with any problems/issues they may have.
Teryn has been married for 4 years to Ben, who she met while he was doing hurricane Katrina relief work. They now have a 1 year old daughter, Daisy, who keeps them on their toes. Teryn enjoys making trips home to Mississippi every few months and spending time with her family and friends.
